How do I Make a Submission?
Making a submission to our digital photo editing services is easy: you just need to go through the following steps.
In the following step by step description, we assume that you are a registered user and that you have just logged in with your account. (If you are not a registered user, you might want to read through the "How do I Sign Up with Photo Remake?" page which explains how you can register.)
1. Click on Create Content
2. Click on Submission
3. Read the Instructions
4. Give a Title and Choose the Desired Services
5. Optionally, Write Any Special Instructions
6. Browse to your Image on your Hard Disk
7. Select the Image and Click Open

Once you have found the desired image on your hard disk, select it and click the Open button of your file browser/explorer dialog. The path and file name of your image will appear in the input field. At this point you are ready to start the actual upload process. |
8. Start the Upload

Now click on the Upload button to start uploading. Depending on the size of the picture you choose, the uploading will take time. Be patient and wait until the process is done! |
9. Wait for the Upload to Finish

Did we say you should be patient? While the picture is being uploaded a small animated rotating icon will appear next to the upload button. Do not interrupt this process. |
10. The Uploaded Picture is Shown as a Thumbnail

As soon as the upload is done, the small animated rotating icon will disappear, and a thumbnail of your picture will be displayed. Notice also that there is a Replace input field in front of the Browse button. You can use it exactly in the same way you did for the initial upload; only that this time you will replace the existing picture with the one you choose. Notice also there is a Remove button to delete the uploaded picture, in case you change your mind. Beneath you will also find another New Upload section, where you can upload a second picture. You can use the Add another item button to open yet another section like these, to upload even more pictures. (Note, however, that we will not accept more than five pictures per submission.) |
11. Permission to Republish, and Save

Before actually sending in your submission, you get the opportunity to give us permission to republish your pictures. We will never republish your pictures unless you give us explicit permission to do so (as we explain in our Privacy Policy). Naturally, we would appreciate very much if you give us your permission. If you do give us permission, we will only use your picture on this site to showcase the kind of work we perform, and explain the challenges and solutions we found with your pictures. Usually we will publish both the original picture, and the one resulting from our intervention. To give us permission, you only need to select the Yes radio button. Additionally, you can also write in the Credits and Other Information text area any additional information you would like us to publish together with your picture. Maybe you would like to mention the name of the photographer, a description of the subject, date, time, and place of the picture, and so on. Finally, to send your submission to us, scroll down to the end of the page and click on the Save button. Shortly thereafter you will receive an automated email in your inbox confirming that the submission has been received by us. |
12. Submission Created!

You will be taken to the nwely created submission page. You can scroll through the page to check that all the details are correct. You can also scroll to the bottom of the page where you can add and save any further comments you would like to append to your submission. You can append such additional comments anytime while the submission is being processed by us. |
