We will inform you when we start to work on your submission, by sending you an email. So check your inbox!

When you receive the email, read it to get a general overview of the process - it is actually a summary of what we are going through in this tutorial. 

Later, when the draft image is available, we will send you a second email. The email will instruct you to open your submission page and examine the draft image.

Log in to your account on Photo Remake, and click on My Submissions option in your personal navigation menu.

You will see a list of all your submissions. Click on the one that is mentioned in the email in order to open it.

You will see your submission page. Notice that now there is an additional Workflow tab on the top of that page. You can examine the page under that tab at any time to check were we are in the processing of your work. However, for the moment just scroll down this page, and look for the Draft Picture . You will see a thumbnail of the resulting draft image. Right click on it and open the image link in a new window.

The draft image will be visible in a new browser window. Examine it to decide whether you are satisfied or not with the work. If you want to, you can also save the image by right clicking it and selecting the Save command.

Notice, that since this is only a draft, we are superimposing the web address of Photo Remake over the picture. Naturally, in the final delivery, that superimposition will not be present.

Close the window where you examined the draft image to get back to the submission page. Below the draft picture thumbnail you will see our payment instructions, and a Pay Now button. If you are happy with the result, and want to receive the final work, please click the Pay Now button and go through the payment process.

The payment process is handled through PayPal. Therefore, after clicking on the Pay Now button, you will be taken to PayPal's payment services site.

Once you have successfully gone through the payment process, you will be taken back to our site. You should also receive an email from PayPal informing you that the payment was successful, and an additional notification email from us telling you when we received the payment.

When the final work is available for you to download, we will send you a last notification email. Login to your account, and navigate to the submission pages, just as you learnt in the steps above when looking for the draft image.

This time, though, you submission page will contain a new Final Delivery section, where you can see a thumbnail of the final picture. As you did for the draft, right click on the thumbnail, open it in a new window to see the final full sized image, and save it to your hard disk.

Your embellished pictures are now yours!

In the left margin, you will find your personal navigation menu; that is the menu that is titled with your own user name. In this example, the logged in user and his navigation menu are both called Photoremake Tester.

In your personal navigation menu, select the Create Content option.

You will see all types of content that you can create, like, for instance, forum posts.You might want to read through the descriptions.

However, in this case you are interested in creating a submission. Therefore, to proceed, either click on the Submission link in the page, or click on the Submission link under the Create Content option.

The first thing you will see is a summary of what you need to do; basically a shorthand version of what you are going through in this tutorial. Nonetheless, skim through the text before proceeding with the following actions.

Give a title to your Submission. The title you give here is important, because we will use it in all communications we will email to you, regarding your submission.

After the title, you can select the kind of work you would like us to perform, simply by marking the corresponding checkboxes.

You have the option of writing any special instruction, and explain in detail what kind of problem you would like us to take care of, if you desire some specific outcome, like applying special effects. In short, this is your chance to describe what you want us to do.

Now to the most important part of your submission, you have to attach the picture(s) that you want us to handle.

Scroll down to the Pictures to be processed section. At the end of the section, you will see fields into which you can upload your pictures.

Start by clicking the Browse button to open the file browser/explorer and navigate your hard disk to the image file you desire.

Once you have found the desired image on your hard disk, select it and click the Open button of your file browser/explorer dialog.

The path and file name of your image will appear in the input field. At this point you are ready to start the actual upload process.

Now click on the Upload button to start uploading. Depending on the size of the picture you choose, the uploading will take time. Be patient and wait until the process is done!

Did we say you should be patient?

While the picture is being uploaded a small animated rotating icon will appear next to the upload button. Do not interrupt this process.

As soon as the upload is done, the small animated rotating icon will disappear, and a thumbnail of your picture will be displayed.

Notice also that there is a Replace input field in front of the Browse button. You can use it exactly in the same way you did for the initial upload; only that this time you will replace the existing picture with the one you choose.

Notice also there is a Remove button to delete the uploaded picture, in case you change your mind.

Beneath you will also find another New Upload section, where you can upload a second picture.

You can use the Add another item button to open yet another section like these, to upload even more pictures. (Note, however, that we will not accept more than five pictures per submission.)

Before actually sending in your submission, you get the opportunity to give us permission to republish your pictures. We will never republish your pictures unless you give us explicit permission to do so (as we explain in our Privacy Policy). Naturally, we would appreciate very much if you give us your permission.

If you do give us permission, we will only use your picture on this site to showcase the kind of work we perform, and explain the challenges and solutions we found with your pictures. Usually we will publish both the original picture, and the one resulting from our intervention. To give us permission, you only need to select the Yes radio button.

Additionally, you can also write in the Credits and Other Information text area any additional information you would like us to publish together with your picture. Maybe you would like to mention the name of the photographer, a description of the subject, date, time, and place of the picture, and so on.

Finally, to send your submission to us, scroll down to the end of the page and click on the Save button. Shortly thereafter you will receive an automated email in your inbox confirming that the submission has been received by us.

You will be taken to the nwely created submission page. You can scroll through the page to check that all the details are correct.

You can also scroll to the bottom of the page where you can add and save any further comments you would like to append to your submission. You can append such additional comments anytime while the submission is being processed by us.

On the home page of Photo Remake, click on the Create new account link that you will find in the right margin.

Insert the username that you want to use to identify your account. This username will also be your nick name, when commenting on blogs or writing forum posts. It is also the name under which you can submit your photos to our Digital Photo Editing Services. In this example, we will use the fictious name of "Photoremake Tester" - naturally, you use the name you prefer!

At this point you have to insert the "Human Verification Code." Now do not get scared! We are not going to DNA test you. This step is here just to make sure you are a true human being interacting with our website. This is necessary in order to protect our site from being attacked by spam-bots and other nasty programs. Once you have typed in the code, you can submit your request by clicking the Create new account button.

A password will be sent to the email address you just specified on the form.

Hence, open up your email program, or web based email service, and check your inbox for this email.

The email will describe two ways by which you can log into your newly created account. The first is simply to go to the login page, provide your username and the password that is mentioned in the email.

The second way is to use the one time log in link that will take you directly to your account's Change Password option. We strongly recommend that you use this second option!

Certainly you could use the password that was mailed to you, but there are several reasons why it is better to change it right away. First, it might not be a password you like or remember easily. Second, and more importantly, since it has been sent through email, it is certainly advisable to change it to something that only you know, and that has not been transmitted through who knows how many mail servers on the way to your inbox. Therefore, click on the Login button to change the password immediately.

You will actually land on a page where you can edit your account information. In particular, use the two password fields to change your password. Just type in the password of your own choosing into the first field, and then re-type it into the next field for confirmation (and make sure it is a password that you will remember!).

To save the password, scroll down to the end of the page and click on the Save button.

That's it! Now you are a registered member of Photo Remake and ready to access all of its services. Well done!
